About Global Leadership Institute

Global Leadership Institute (GLI) was established in 1996 by two renowned international management professors. Professors Allen Morrison and Stewart Black brought together their years of experience working with senior leadership teams on complex strategy, organizational challenges, and leadership development.

Our Story

Over the last three decades, Drs. Morrison and Black have assisted organizations in both formulating and implementing their strategies. They have especially worked with clients on the challenges of leading organizational change, including digital transformation. Often the implementation phase has included significant leadership development initiatives to ensure that the organization had both the right number and quality of leaders to carry out the targeted change.

Together, Drs. Morrison and Black have worked with over 200 multinational companies from the US, Europe, Asia Pacific, Australia, Canada, the Middle East, and Latin America. The unique combination of rigorous research as professors and real world experience as consultants has led to numerous invitations to deliver keynote speeches at company events, association meetings, and large conferences.
